CEO

Shelly Deng，Ph.D.

Dr. Deng is Sidus Energy's co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Sidus, she held technical and management positions at HP, Agilent Technologies, Finisar now Coherent and Bridgelux. Dr. Deng holds a B.S. in Physics from Peking University, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.

COO

Ryan Chen

Mr. Chen has over 25 years of diversified industry experience in semiconductor, electronics, and telecommunication. Prior to joining Sidus, Mr. Chen held various technical and management positions in engineering, quality, and operation at several technology companies, including Samsung Semiconductor, UTStarcom, Worldplay, CFG online and Honeywell. He received a B.S. in Astronomy and a B.A. in Business Management from Nanjing University.

CFO

Gary Koos

Mr. Koos is a veteran finance and operations executive with 30 plus years of experience in various industries including battery manufacturing and solar. He had been CFOs for solar company Worldwide Energy and Manufacturing, and lithium-ion battery manufacturer PolyStor Inc. Mr. Koos has a B.S. in Accounting and Finance and an M.B.A. in International Business and Taxation, both from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

R&D Director

Jack Huang Ph.D.

Jack joined Sidus with an outstanding academic background, including 10 years of experience at world-leading institutions in advanced battery research and materials science.
He holds BS from Zhejiang University, Ph.D. from Northwestern University, both in Materials Science and Engineering, and was post-doctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
